Top 5 Crockpot Recipes for Fall!

It is that time of year again! Time to break out the crockpot!

I LOVE my crockpot. It is so versatile. I can make so many different things from one small cooking tool. It’s probably my favorite way to cook.

So, I’m sharing my FIVE most favorite crockpot recipes with you!

These are family-friendly, meaning that every family member is happy at the dinner table – even those picky little eaters! And there is nothing better than getting your picky eater to eat a meal that you have prepared for them.

Without further or do, here they are:

1. CHEESY CHICKEN SPAGHETTI

This is my favorite go-to recipe. It makes a good bit for a family of four and its always leaving left-overs! I found this on Lauren’s Latest blog around three years ago, and I come back to it every time! The only thing I do differently, is I don’t use the rotel tomatoes and I use shredded cheese. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems to be extra cheesy when I do this, and the kids LOVE that. The kids aren’t the biggest fans of spicy-ness, which is why I don’t use the rotel. But, if your kids actually enjoy a little bit of spice, unlike mine, then go for it!

2. POTATO SOUP

The picture above is exactly how I found my favorite potato soup recipe via pinterest. It is the most delicious, fulfilling, comfort food that there is. Once again, the ENTIRE family gobbles it up. One thing I might add here: definitely use Ore Ida brand diced hash brown potatoes. For some reason they are the absolutely best tasting cubed hash browns for this particular recipe and I have used many different brands. Trust me when I say, it is the BEST. This is a family favorite! We top it with sour cream, extra cheese, bacon bits, and green onion! We also crumbled ritz crackers on top for a little crunch! I am 99% positive your family will love this simple meal!

3. BBQ SMOKED SAUSAGE

I got the inspiration for this idea in the crockpot from this pin. This is the easiest recipe I have ever found. They use the grill, however, I chunk mine in the crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours if I am in a hurry and low for four hours, if there is time to waste. I sprinkle a little salt and pepper over mine and wait for them to finish. Not only does my family love these, but I also fixed these for a large co-op gathering and there were only a handful left! So yummy! Pair these sausage bites with chips and dip, fries, maybe baked beans and corn, or you can just use as an appetizer! Regardless, I’m sure that it will be a favorite no matter if you’re serving family or a group!

4. Chicken Alfredo

Another noodle recipe… BUT IT’S SOOO GOOD. This is one of my daughter’s favorite meals. Just a few ingredients and insanely yummy! This recipe is an absolute staple in our household… even in the summer months! It is very fulfilling and leftovers are there for days. I don’t do anything different to this recipe because it is the PERFECT comfort food!

5. POT ROAST

Honestly, I have never been a fan of pot roast… ever. But, my mom told me that she added Dr. Pepper to hers, but that it needed a little “something”. So, a quick little pinterest search and I found this recipe. SO EASY. And everyone brags about it! Put the carrots, onions, potatoes, and celery in and even your kids will be eating up all those veggies!

That is my top five favorite crockpot recipes! These recipes are all meals my kids will eat and I have some picky eaters! I hope you’ll give these awesome recipes a try and if you do, let me know how well you like them!
